Job Description:
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive image of the organization through communication, media engagement, and community outreach. The role includes preparing press materials, organizing public events, developing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communication and PR plans in alignment with the organization's goals.
- Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries and act as a spokesperson when needed.
- Draft press releases, articles, newsletters, speeches, and other communication materials.
- Organize press conferences, public events, and promotional campaigns to increase visibility.
- Monitor media coverage and create reports evaluating PR performance.
- Build strong relationships with media professionals, stakeholders, and community members.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across public communications.
- Manage the organization's public image and reputation, both online and offline.
- Respond to inquiries and address public concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams (communications, marketing, social media) to align messaging and strategies.
- Support crisis communication efforts and assist in managing potential reputational risks.
- Assist in content development for digital platforms, including websites and social media.
- Keep up with trends in communication strategies, media tools, and public engagement.

Necessary Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and media representatives
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of brand management and media strategy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with content creation tools is a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
Freshers with strong communication skills are highly encouraged to apply
Experience:
0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates welcome)
