✨ Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Commis III to join our culinary team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their culinary journey. The role involves supporting senior chefs with basic kitchen tasks, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting in food preparation while learning the fundamentals of Italian and Continental cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)
- Support Commis II, Commis I, and Chef de Partie as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Always follow hygiene and food safety standards
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies properly
- Learn and adhere to kitchen procedures, recipes, and portion controls
- Dispose of waste and assist in daily cleaning duties
- Carry out any other tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff
✅ Qualifications & Skills:
- +2 in BHM or relevant academic background (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations training or experience of 1 year is a plus
- Can prepare basic Italian and Continental cuisine
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Good personal hygiene and understanding of kitchen safety basics
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
