Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, prides themselves on providing exceptional guest service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining our bar's standards, and contributing to the overall experience that keeps our guests returning.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation & Service:

• Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic and signature cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and proper presentation techniques.
• Provide thoughtful drink recommendations and upsell premium products based on guest preferences.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.

Bar Maintenance & Operations:

• Ensure the bar area is impeccably clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and cash handling.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, identifying low stock levels and reporting needs to management.

Guest Experience:

• Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and create a welcoming and lively bar atmosphere.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Build rapport with regulars and new guests to foster loyalty.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

• Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Bartender, Barback, or Mixologist in a high-quality establishment.

Education:

Required: Minimum of Intermediate (+2) or equivalent. A recognized Bartending or Mixology certification (e.g., BarSmarts, ISO) is a significant advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cocktail and mocktail recipes, techniques, and presentation
• Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Strong understanding of bar equipment and sanitation standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
• Impeccable personal presentation and a positive, professional attitude.
