✨ Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The CDP will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen under the supervision of the Chef de Partie. This role is ideal for chefs with solid experience in Italian and Continental cuisine who are ready to take more responsibility and grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned section.
- Supervise and support Commis chefs in daily food preparation tasks.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation in all dishes.
- Follow kitchen SOPs, recipes, and portion guidelines
- Assist in planning and preparing mise-en-place for service
- Monitor food stock and communicate needs to the Chef de Partie
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
- Contribute to minimizing food waste and managing kitchen resources efficiently
- Report any equipment issues, ingredient shortages, or hygiene concerns promptly
✅ Qualifications & Skills:
- BHM preferred / Culinary Arts or related field
- 3-4 years of professional kitchen experience (Italian/Continental cuisine)
- Solid knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques
- Ability to lead junior staff and work efficiently in a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Passion for food, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow
