✨ Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Commis II to join our culinary team. The role involves assisting senior chefs in preparing high-quality Italian and Continental dishes, supporting daily kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing mise-en-place (chopping, marinating, portioning)
- Support Commis I and Chef de Partie in cooking Italian & Continental dishes
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety procedures
- Follow standard recipes and portion guidelines
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies
- Report equipment faults or shortages to supervisors
✅ Qualifications & Skills:
- +2 in BHM or relevant field
- Basic culinary training or equivalent practical experience
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience (Italian/Continental preferred)
- Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow
