Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct market research to identify potential merchants and business opportunities.
● Develop a pipeline of prospective merchants through various channels, including cold calling,networking, and industry events.
● Reach out to potential merchants and present the benefits of partnering with our company.
● Conduct presentations and meetings to demonstrate the value proposition of our services.
● Negotiate contract terms and agreements with merchants.
● Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
● Provide training and support to new merchants to ensure a smooth transition.
● Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with acquired merchants to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
● Monitor and analyze the performance of acquired merchants to ensure they meet business objectives.
● Provide regular reports and updates to management on merchant acquisition activities and outcomes.
● Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve merchant acquisition processes and tools.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
● Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales.
● Proven experience in merchant acquisition, sales, or business development.
● Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
● Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
● Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
● Analytical skills to assess market trends and merchant performance.
● Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities
