Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Nepal’s accounting standards, Income Tax Act, and Tally software, along with hands-on experience in VAT, TDS, and Excise. This role requires accuracy, integrity, and the ability to manage financial operations while coordinating with audit and vendor teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping in compliance with the Income Tax Act, Nepal, using Tally software.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping and organize accounting vouchers, including Journal, Purchase, Payment, and Contra vouchers.
  • Handle Bank Reconciliation and ensure all transactions are accurately updated.
  • Manage bank operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and coordination with financial institutions.
  • Facilitate Chinese and Nepali accounting coordination for vendor checks and reporting.
  • Lead the accounts department and provide guidance to the audit department during reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, and Excise regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and meetings as required.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Running or Completed).
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge Required: Strong understanding of VAT, TDS, and Excise compliance.
