Descriptions

As a Pick Up Specialist, you will be an essential part of our courier operations team. Primary responsibilities will be to efficiently coordinate and manage the picking of packages and ensure timely pick-up. Will work closely with the Pick riders and other team members to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Package Pick up:

Receive incoming packages and verify the accuracy of information provided.

Picking the package through different merchants

Outside valley product handover to 3PL.

 

Communication and Coordination:

Maintain constant communication with pick up riders to provide updates, instructions and address any issues or concerns.

Collaborate with customer service representatives to address customer inquiries and resolve delivery related problems.

Collaborate with the warehouse and sorting team to ensure the availability of and proper handling of packages.

 

Monitoring and Tracking:

Utilize tracking system and software to monitor the progress of deliveries and update the status of packages in real time.

Actively identify potential delays or issues and take necessary action to reduce them.

Maintain accurate records of picked packages, delivery times, and any incidents.

 

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that packages are properly labeled, documented, and secure for transportation.

Follow set procedures to address any mismatch, damages, or missing items on time.

 

 

Qualifications:

Should have a driving license of Category B

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or related fields is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with Pick up riders, team members, and customers effectively.

Familiarity with basic computer operations and proficiency in using dispatching software or systems.

Knowledge of local geographical areas and routes to optimize delivery efficiency.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per operational requirements.
