Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation & Distribution Management:
- Plan and coordinate transportation for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Customs & Documentation:
- Handle documentation, including VCTS, permits, and tax compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Nepal’s trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and government authorities for smooth operation.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
- Negotiate with logistics service providers for cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Identify inefficiencies in logistics operations and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company policies.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare logistics reports (delivery performance, costs, delays).
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years in logistics operations.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Nepal’s logistics, customs, and trade regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Language: Fluent in Nepali and English (written & spoken).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with occasional.
- May require extended hours during peak seasons or emergencies.
