We are looking for a passionate Android Developer to join our team and contribute to building next‑generation OTT (Over‑the‑Top) applications. If you are eager to learn, have hands‑on Kotlin experience, and want to work with the latest Android technologies, this role is for you!
🌟 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of OTT platform applications for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement UI components and app features following MVVM architecture
- Support the integration of media playback functionalities using libraries like ExoPlayer under guidance
- Utilize Coroutines for asynchronous tasks (API calls, data fetching)
- Write and maintain unit tests and simple UI test cases
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (designers, QA, backend developers) to deliver features on time
- Identify and fix basic bugs and performance issues
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and actively contribute to team learning sessions
🎯 Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (pursuing or completed)
- 1+ year of hands‑on Kotlin development experience, preferably with at least one published project/app
- Basic knowledge of Jetpack Compose for UI development
- Familiarity with Coroutines, suspend functions, and asynchronous programming
- Exposure to MVVM architecture (ViewModel, LiveData, or StateFlow)
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON handling
- Experience with Git for version control
- Exposure to writing test cases using JUnit or Mockito
- Willingness to learn and apply Dependency Injection (e.g., Hilt)
- Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Passion for media and OTT technologies
