Flight Booking Officer

About the Role

Census Travel is looking for a skilled and experienced Flight Booking Officer to join our dynamic team. The role requires expertise in managing domestic and international bookings, ensuring smooth ticketing operations, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle flight bookings, reservations, and ticket issuance using GDS and other platforms.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on fares, schedules, and airline policies.
• Manage rebooking, cancellations, refunds, and ticket changes efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with airline guidelines and company SOPs.
• Assist clients with special requests, upgrades, and travel documentation.
• Maintain strong communication with airlines and internal teams.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Tourism/Hospitality background preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in flight bookings (GDS knowledge is a must).
• Strong understanding of airline policies, ticketing systems, and rebooking procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric attitude with professionalism and attention to detail.
