Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Role Overview 

Kalpa Internet Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on CTO who will lead the complete  technology vision, architecture, and execution across all Kalpa platforms. The CTO will be  responsible for building scalable systems that connect sellers, warehouses, riders, logistics  partners, content creator, influencer, affiliate marketer and customers into one integrated  ecosystem. 

This role combines strategic leadership + strong execution, ideal for a builder who wants ownership, equity, and long-term growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Technology Leadership & Strategy 

• Define the overall tech roadmap for KalpaMart, KalpaShop, and KalpaLogistics 
• Ensure all platforms are scalable, secure, and performance-optimized 
• Align technology decisions with business goals and revenue models 

2. Product & Platform Development 

∙Lead development of: 

• Seller dashboards 
• Customer apps (Android / iOS / Web) 
• Rider, logistics partner/company, influencer, content creator, affiliate marketer apps 
• Admin & operations panels 

∙Oversee integrations for: 

• Payment gateways (COD, wallets, online payments) 
• Order management systems 
• Inventory, warehouse & dispatch systems 
• Tracking, reporting, and analytics 

3. Marketplace & Logistics Systems 

∙Build and optimize: 

• Dropshipping workflows 
• Multi-vendor marketplace logic 
• Logistics bidding / allocation systems 
• Pickup, drop-off, RTV, and returns flow 
• Ensure real-time visibility for orders, riders, and sellers 

4. Team Management 

• Hire, mentor, and manage: 
• Backend developers 
• Mobile app developers 
• QA & DevOps 

∙Set coding standards, release cycles, and documentation practices 

5. Security, Performance & Reliability 

• Ensure data security and system reliability 
• Implement backup, monitoring, and failover systems 
• Optimize infrastructure costs (cloud, servers, APIs) 

6. Stakeholder Collaboration 

∙Work closely with: 

• Founders & management team 
• Operations & logistics teams 
• Marketing & growth teams 

∙Support investor discussions with technical clarity and vision 

Required Skills & Experience 

∙Strong experience in: 

• Marketplace platforms (eCommerce / logistics preferred) 
• Mobile app & backend system architecture 
• API-driven and modular system design 

∙Hands-on knowledge of: 

• Flutter / React Native (preferred) 
• Vue/Node.js / Django or similar backend frameworks 
• Cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure or equivalent) 

Experience scaling products from early stage to growth stage 

• Strong problem-solving and leadership mindset
