Overview
We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Associate Intern to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role is perfect for an aspiring marketer who is passionate about digital trends, content virality, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a crucial role in bringing our brand story to life through engaging content and ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Viral Content Creation:
- Assist in the ideation, scripting, and production of trend-driven short-form video content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels) designed to maximize engagement and viral reach.
- Maintain a deep understanding of current platform trends, sounds, and content formats.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Compile weekly and monthly performance reports across all social channels, analyzing key metrics (reach, impressions, engagement rate) to provide actionable insights.
- Maintain organized documentation of content calendars, asset approvals, and social media archives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Facilitate communication and project logistics between the Social Media team and essential internal departments, including Commercial, Legal, and Procurement teams, to ensure all content and campaigns meet regulatory and budget requirements.
- Partnership Support:
- Assist in the execution of influencer and creator marketing programs, including initial outreach, tracking content deliverables, and coordinating logistics with external marketing agencies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Demonstrable passion and proficiency in using major social media platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics (e.g., interpreting engagement rates, reach, and impressions).
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to jump in on new projects and solve problems creatively.
