Key Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge & Development:
- Seek support from the line manager, sales verticals, and cross-functional teammates to develop product knowledge and understanding of marketing programs and sales operations.
Customer Visit Planning:
- Prepare quarterly customer visit plans for the sales operations team and strive to achieve them.
- Submit quarterly plans and action plans (if applicable) for approval.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business numbers consistently.
Daily Planning & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit daily call/work plans to the line manager and execute them effectively.
- Report daily calls upon successful completion.
Coaching & Leadership Facilitation:
- Participate in coaching sessions with the line manager and sales verticals during or after Joint Field Work (JFW).
- Efficiently facilitate the presence of sales leadership teams.
Distributor Relationship Management:
- Ensure appropriate follow-up, visits, and tailored business interactions with distributors in the territory.
- Maintain sustained business relationships to ensure stock availability and timely receivables collection.
Sales Data Reporting:
- Send weekly (if requested), fortnightly, and monthly sales data with integrity.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales stock statements.
Performance Tracking:
- Stay updated with field and sales metrics and performances.
- Archive performance data appropriately for appraisal discussions with the line manager and HR counterparts.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science Faculties or Marketing/Business Studies (with +2 or intermediate science background).
- Good knowledge of biological sciences; understanding of pharmacological sciences is an added advantage.
- Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in the regulated manufacturing pharmaceutical industry, specifically in marketing, sales, and distribution management.
- Agile, smart, and detail-oriented.
- Open to coaching and positive feedback.
- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret data and statistical business insights.
- Hardworking and outgoing personality.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license.
