Duhabi Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Duhabi, Sunsari, Koshi Province, Nepal Notice Regarding Contract-Based Recruitment

As per the decision of Duhabi Municipality dated 2081-01-25, applications are invited from eligible Nepali citizens to fill the following positions on a contract basis for the construction of a multi-purpose commercial building in Ward No. 5 and other works.

Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications in the prescribed format within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Position: Project Engineer

Number of Positions: 1 (One)

Service Facilities: As per the decision of Duhabi Municipality

a) Minimum Required Educational Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent as per Nepal Engineering Council

Experience in planning, designing, project management, and construction supervision of infrastructure projects

Familiar with World Bank Guidelines, Procurements of Goods and Works

Strong leadership, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills

Minimum general experience: 5 Years

Minimum building construction experience: 2 Years

b) Type of Examination: Practical Examination and Oral Interview

c) Examination Center: Office of Municipal Executive, Duhabi Municipality

d) Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Only)

e) Documents to be submitted with the application:

Copies of the following documents certified by the applicant along with the application fee receipt:

Citizenship certificate of Nepal

Educational qualification certificates (marksheets and character certificate)

Certificate with NEC number from Nepal Engineering Council

Experience documents

Two recent passport-size photos

g) Age Limit: Must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 45 years by the last date of application submission

h) Last Date of Application Submission: Within office hours on the 21st day from the date of publication of this notice. If the last day falls on a holiday, the next working day.

i) Contract Period: Throughout the project duration

j) Contact Date: The day after the last date of application submission

k) Examination Date: To be specified on the contact date
