Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial College is located at Siphal, Chabhil, Kathmandu. It has been established in the name of the great hero of the Democratic Republic Movement, the first head of the state and the then Prime Minister of the government after Nepal was declared a Republic. The college has been running as a community college since it was granted affiliation by the Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2013/014 AD. The main objective of the Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial College is to establish itself as a non-profit making community educational institution to fulfill the national need for educated, competent, qualitative, and competitive human resources.Quality education to the ordinary public at affordable fees and provision of to access education, and enhancement of knowledge through research, are a few goals of Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial College.
