About College

Saraswati Multiple Campus is located at Lekhnathmarg, Thamel, Kathmandu. The campus is located in ward no. 16 of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. It is one of the oldest and most historical campuses among the 60 constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University. The campus has a long academic history of more than 50 Years. A group of enthusiastic educators contributed to establishing the campus. It was established on Poush 10th, 2016 BS as Saraswati Inter College. At first, the college started the Night classes for the Proficiency Certificate level in Humanities. Saraswati Multiple Campus offers Bachelor's and Master's programs under two faculties of Tribhuvan University: the Faculty of Management, and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The Bachelor's and Master's programs of SMC offer an annual based Bachelor's program in Business Studies (BBS), semester-based bachelor's program in Business Management (BBM), semester-based Bachelor's program in Business Administration (BBA), semester-based Bachelor's program in Hotel Management (BHM) and semester-based Master's program in Business Management (MBM), Master's program in Business Studies (MBS), under Faculty of Management, TU. Similarly, under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, courses such as Bachelor of Arts in English, Nepali, Mathematics, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Culture, History and Rural Development, and semester-based Master's program in English, Nepali, and Sociology are offered respectively. SMC is the first campus in Kathmandu valley to introduce the semester-based BBM  program of management stream in 2071 B.S.
