About College

Bagiswori College is a true community college located at the eastern gateway of the historic city Bhaktapur. This college was founded by a group of the socially motivated populace in 2064 BS. It was established to provide liberal and practical education with fundamental knowledge and impact on societal and global problems to students from all social strata. Bagiswori College runs Bachelor's Programs under two different streams -BA and BBS and two Master's Programs -MBS and MA(Sociology) in affiliation with Tribhuvan University. It offers a wide variety of subjects for promoting greater skills and competence of both students and the faculties as per the need of the society. Better academic excellence and effective performance have always been the issues of higher preference for Bagiswori College. So the college provides opportunities to its faculties and students to contribute and gets involved in different research-oriented activities, training, seminars, workshops, and many other performances. Besides, the utmost gratification of the students is its prime concern. So the college is sincerely dedicated to fulfilling the aspirations of the students by properly managing its infrastructures and sound academic environment.
