Job Description for the post of Manager

1. Marketing manager

A marketing manager is a person responsible for the managing, promotion, positioning, and branding of a product produced by a company. A marketing manager is the head of the marketing department who controls all the employees under him/ her.

Roles of Marketing manager

- Manage and coordinate all marketing, brand activations, media buying, and product management activities.

- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.

- Carry out effective promotional schemes to enhance sales of the products under consideration.

- Liaison with the advertising agency regarding the product campaign including journal advertising, direct mail, and conferences.

- Analysis of customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information.

- Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.

- Expand and develop marketing platforms.

- Engage in the product management marketing plans and projects.

- Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results and competitors' analysis.

- Determine and manage the marketing budget.

- Deliver marketing activity within the agreed budget.

- Report on return on investment and key performance metrics.

- Develop a pricing strategy.

- Create marketing presentations.

- Liaison with media and advertising.

- Collaborate with the sales function.

- Monitor industry best practices.

- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification for marketing manager

- Minimum bachelor's degree in the relevant field.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Proven experience in developing marketing plans and campaigns in a reputed company.

- Strong project management, multitasking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills with sound technical knowledge.

 

2. Sales manager

The sales manager is the person who is responsible for selecting, hiring and training new sales staff.

Roles of sales manager

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and excellent sales service.

- Ascertain customer's needs and wants.

- Recommend and display items that match customer needs.

- Manage point-of-sale processes.

- Keep up to date with product information.

- Accurately describe product features and benefits.

- Follow all companies' policies and procedures.

- Selecting, hiring, and training new sales employees.

- Help in increasing the sales of the company.

Qualification of sales manager

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management or a relevant field.

- Must have minimum of 2 Years of experience.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

3. Social media manager

The social media manager is the person responsible for managing social media and helps to generate potential customers through social media.

Roles of social media manager

- Manage the company’s online presence by developing a strategy and producing quality online content.

- Communicate with the clients to understand their requirements and give recommendations as per their needs.

- Collaborate with the team members to ensure brand consistency and suggest new features to develop brand awareness.

- Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly and monitor customer reviews.

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

- Set specific objectives and report on ROI.

- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service.

 

Qualification of social media manager

- Should be a dynamic and productive individual who is willing to work towards efficiently achieving objectives.

- At least 6 months to a year’s experience working in the relevant field. 

- Basic Photoshop and editing skills.

- Knowledge of SEO optimization.

4. Finance manager

A finance manager is a person responsible for creating managing and handling all finance-related problems.

Role of a finance manager

- Should play a key role in ensuring proper accounting and finance management.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

- Responsible for accounting, taxation, budgeting reporting, and legal function of the company.

- Should establish a strong professional relationship with bankers, auditors, lawyers, and government departments related to taxation, excise, and VAT.

- Responsible for finance department functionality regarding internal auditing, reporting & reconciliation along with support and supervision to relevant departments.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualification of finance manager

- Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field.

- Requires a high degree of strategic planning skills and board management focus and vision to foresee all aspects of financial operations.

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Good communication skills.

- Technical knowledge as well as problem-solving skills.
