The primary purpose of a business analyst is to bridge the gap between IT and business using data analytics they are responsible for processing, interpreting documents and business processes, and products through analysis of data.

Role/ Responsibilities of business analyst

- He/she is responsible for understanding business needs, including the most significant process to accomplish their work.

- Evaluate the process for cost-efficient and result-oriented driving of work.

- To compile the recommendations for the company on various technological, potential, and improvement adjustments.  

- Lead the research and implement the technology or process that requires a more substantial technical understanding along with the development of the functional specification.

- Manage, develop, monitor, and ensure the timely deliverance of the turnovers.

- Communicate, and recommend,  procedures of business changes to the team.

- Engage with business leaders to help them plan the changes in the company.

- Must possess critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.

-Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

- Performing user acceptance testing.

Qualification of business analyst

-  Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

-  5 years of experience in a related field.

- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

- have advanced technical skills.

- Excellent documentation skills.

- create detailed reports and give presentations.

- Fluency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- A track record of following through on commitments.

- Planning, organizational, and time management skills.

- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
