- Reading the supervisor's daily instructions.
- Raw materials are received and loaded for processing.
- Operating machinery and tools used in production lines, such as conveyor belts.
- Examining and removing damaged or flawed products from the manufacturing process.
- Putting things in categories and labeling them.
- Distributing processed goods by unloading them into bins.
- Ensuring that machinery, tools, and equipment are maintained and operated safely.
- Notifying the supervisor of any damage, malfunctions, or safety risks.
- Adhering to all health and safety rules.
- Cleaning up the entire production line, including the workspace, tools, and machinery.
Responsibilities
- GED or high school diploma.
- Preferable is prior production sorting experience.
- Good manual dexterity and physical endurance.
- Familiarity with the machinery and production lines.
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
- Outstanding organizational abilities.
- Careful with the details.
- Strong verbaloral and written communication abilities.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects, operate machinery, and stand for extended periods of time.
