In 1996 a group of highly motivated, professional and entrepreneurial minded youths started a small PAN registered Vehicle rental company at Sorakhute, Kathmandu with a few vehicles to meet the needs of the general market under the name of Kathmandu Vehicle Services. In due course of time, the increasing of business relations with NGOs, INGOs, diplomatic missions Hydropower companies and various ministries of Nepal government, the enterprising team incorporated another VAT registered vehicle rental company in 2010 with the name of Spark Link Enterprises. Considering the same nature of service but highly growing demands from both Private and Public sectors, Kathmandu Vehicle Services and Spark Link Enterprises were eventually merged into a single company under the name of Spark Group in the year 2011.

As a Senior Sales & Operations Officer at our car rental company, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain relationships with new corporate clients. You will play a vital role in driving business development initiatives, generating sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of our services on a day-to-day basis. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, sales acumen, and operational efficiency.

Sr. Sales Officer (B2B):  2 We are seeking a result-oriented professional with expertise in business-to-business sales. The candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • New Corporate Client Meetings: Schedule and conduct meetings with potential corporate clients to present our car rental services (Minimum 20 Meeting in a day), understand their requirements, and negotiate business agreements.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop sales strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
  • Sales Generation: Achieve sales targets by effectively promoting and selling our car rental services to corporate clients. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to win new business.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize repeat business. Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue potential.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Ensure seamless coordination between sales, reservations, fleet management, and other operational departments.
  • Operations Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, timely vehicle availability, and excellent customer service. Collaborate with the operations team to address any operational issues or customer complaints.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to corporate clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our rental services.
  • Negotiations and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Manage contract renewal and modification processes.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the management team to support decision-making processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, finance, and marketing, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales and Marketing, preferably Experience with corporate clients is highly desirable.
  • Strong Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Business Acumen: Good understanding of the car rental industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Self-Motivated and Proactive: Ability to work independently, set priorities, and take initiative to drive business growth.
  • Own Vehicle: Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to client meetings and business-related activities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
