FYMO is a food discovery app designed to help food lovers experience and enjoy food like never before. With FYMO app, food lovers can discover restaurants, share their own food experience, review restaurants and engage with other foodies, all while enjoying great deals. As a part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its existing team, the company is seeking to hire highly motivated personnel for the following positions.
Position: Senior Backend Software Engineer – 2
Job Description:
- Lead the development of backend systems to support new and existing products and services
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they are developing high-quality code and continuously improving their skills.
- Collaborate with team members to make technical decisions, identify and evaluate new technologies, and implement best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to established standards.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems by conducting code reviews, testing, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Qualification
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
Requirement/Skills
- Strong knowledge of Golang, Python, and Typescripts/JavaScript.
- Experience with database systems susch as PostgreSQL, Redis, and other NoSQL databases.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable solutions and experience leading a team of engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design and implement efficient and maintainable solutions.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Position: Business Development Manager – 2
Job Description:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market analysis and competitor research.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, including identifying new markets and sales channels.
- Prepare and present proposals, sales presentations, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring that the company’s interests are protected.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teas, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments, and provide regular reports on business performance.
Qualification:
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in business development or a related field.
Requirement/Skills
- Proven track record successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to secure deals and protect the company’s interests.
- Good understanding of sales and marketing principles, with experience in creating and delivering sales presentations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of motivation and drive
Note:
Priority will be given to Nepali citizen.
