Sanima Hydro, a leading hydropower company is seeking for skilled applications from highly motivated, result-oriented, team player and competent Nepalese citizens for the following positions.

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Openings: One (1)

Job Station: Head Office with frequent site visits

Academic Qualification and Other Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university

Proven work experience of 2 years or more in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in Hydropower or Renewable Energy Projects

Ability to work efficiently on Operation, Maintenance, and optimization of Hydropower Systems including Electro-Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical equipment

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

Oversee mechanical systems in hydropower projects, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance

Design hydro-mechanical component of Hydropower for successful implementation including co-ordination with the Contract and site team

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve system performance and reliability

Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation as needed

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety and efficiency in operations
