Sanima Hydro, a leading hydropower company is seeking applications from highly motivated, result-oriented, team player and competent Nepalese citizens for the following positions

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Openings: 1
Job Station: Project Site Based

Academic Qualification and Other Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

At least 3-4 years of work experience in a relevant field.

Should have a Nepali Citizenship

Job Responsibilities:

Carryout operation and maintenance of hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment instructed by the Plant Manager

Supervise and coordinate with technical staffs to achieve smooth operation of the plant

Report and operational challenges to the plant Manager and strive for the viable solution without affecting the operation

Prepare reports on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly for proper information sharing and record keeping for future reference

Ability to understand hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical as-built drawings as required during maintenance of equipment

Possess strong verbal, and written communication and software skills (AutoCAD, etc.)

Position: Officer-IT

Openings: 1
Job Station: Head Office
The IT Officer will manage area-specific technology resource and actively participate with technology governance committees and matrixed IT support aligned with their area (s)

Minimum Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in BSC CSIT, BIT, BCA/; at least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree (s) from and accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have experience in installation, configuration, maintenance of server (software/Hardware), knowledge in configuration of networking and security systems (firewalls, Routers and Switches etc.)

Must have experience in configuration and maintenance in digitalization document management and dissemination

Sound knowledge in email account configuration, maintenance in digitalization document management and dissemination

Oversight and technical assistant to head office and branch staff related to IT issues

Sound Knowledge of latest framework in systems, mobile application development and knowledge in data analysis and presentation

Sound Knowledge in latest software development and technological methodologies and framework (Mobile Application development) optional

Manage technology services that meet operational requirements in designated area(s) of the Company

Perform other requirements analyses and studies assigned by supervisor

Self-motivated, with a broadness of experience and outlook, with proven
