Job Description

We're in search of a dynamic and motivated Female Reservation Officer to join the Landmark Hotels and Resorts corporate team. The Reservation Officer shall be responsible for responding to reservation requests from the guests, corporate companies, and referral networks made through various communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and assist customers in making, altering or cancelling reservations
  • Respond to emails with reservation information, confirmations, and additional details
  • Assist and advise customers who may be choosing variety of options
  • Make reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances
  • Advise customers regarding ongoing promotions or available upgrades that may enhance their experience
  • Check the availability of accommodation on the customers’ desired travel date
  • Answer questions regarding rooms, facilities, rates and events
  • Accurately record customer information and charge credit cards upon successful reservation
  • Process payments and send confirmation details to customers
  • Update daily and monthly occupancy report of Landmark Kathmandu, Landmark Pokhara and Landmark Forest Park
  • Make sure the occupancy reports are available in Daily morning meetings at the corporate office
  • Send Hotel position reports for the next 3 months to vice-president and company director
  • Send prompt response to client messages on Social Network through meta business suite app
  • At the end of every business day, send expected arrivals and hotel position to concerned departments
  • Perform basic reservation audit of booking details (i.e., Company name, Billing institution, business sources, market segment etc.)
  • Update all confirmed reservation on IDS and manual excel spreadsheet. Tag all reservations with a reservation number in the Excel sheet
  • Make sure all email correspondence for booking confirmation, amendments and cancellations contain reservation number
  • Reservation emails for confirmed, amended and cancelled bookings should be sent to the following three parties:
  • Hotel Front desk/Reservation
  • Guest/Client
  • Concerned sales manager

 

Requirements:

  • One year’s experience as a Reservation Officer. Having experience in Hospitality industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey the brand's message effectively.
  • Proper knowledge of Microsoft packages along with formal correspondence over email is a must. 
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Proper working knowledge in Property Management Software’s.
  • Candidate with knowledge on Online Travel Agents will be preferred.
