Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the cable car system, prioritizing passenger safety and service reliability.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to all operational and safety standards.
- Safety Management:
- Establish and maintain comprehensive safety protocols for cable car operations, including emergency preparedness and rescue mechanisms.
- Regularly review and update safety policies, and lead safety demonstrations and training programs for staff.
- Procurement and Inventory Management:
- Manage the procurement of all spare parts, tools, and consumables required for cable car operations and maintenance.
- Monitor the monthly consumption of spare parts and devices, ensuring proper usage and minimizing wastage.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of quality components.
- Resource Allocation and Team Motivation:
- Effectively allocate resources, including manpower, tools, and budget, to maximize operational efficiency.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational goals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure continuous professional growth of staff.
- Rescue Mechanism and Training:
- Supervise the design and implementation of rescue mechanisms to ensure readiness during emergencies.
- Conduct regular drills and demonstrations to ensure the team is well-prepared for emergency situations.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance, safety compliance, resource usage, and maintenance activities.
- Analyze trends in spare part usage and operational costs to identify areas for improvement.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for operational excellence and business growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to align operational objectives with the company’s overall vision.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the cable car or industrial sector, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of cable car systems, safety protocols, and rescue mechanisms.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components of cable car operations is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.
