Descriptions

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain financial models for the organization’s business units.
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve financial performance.

 

2. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

 

3. Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to optimize cash flow.

 

4. Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on loans, foreign exchange rates, liquidity, and credit.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures to minimize risk.

 

5. Financial Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Supervise the finance team and ensure timely completion of financial reporting and audits.

 

6. Strategic Planning:

  • Support senior management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Evaluate opportunities for expansion, mergers, or acquisitions and assess their financial feasibility.

 

7. Tax and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Coordinate tax filings and audits with external tax advisors and auditors.

 

A successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience in managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
