Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead and drive sales operations for our cosmetic products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage distributor teams effectively. This role requires extensive travel across the country to oversee operations, build relationships, and ensure consistent growth in sales performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional targets and goals.

Lead, motivate, and manage the distributor team to ensure consistent performance and growth.

Provide guidance and training to distributor teams to enhance their selling capabilities.

 

2. Market Expansion:

Identify and explore new market opportunities to expand the reach of cosmetic products.

Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.

Conduct regular market visits to assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

 

3. Performance Monitoring:

Track sales performance and provide actionable insights to the team.

Analyze sales reports and identify areas for improvement.

Implement corrective actions to address underperformance and achieve targets.

 

4. Distributor Management:

Oversee the activities of distributor partners to ensure effective product distribution.

Collaborate with distributors to create and implement sales plans.

Monitor stock levels, orders, and delivery timelines to maintain efficiency.

 

5. Travel Flexibility:

Travel extensively across the country to oversee regional operations, meet distributors, and attend industry events.

Ensure on-ground presence to address challenges and opportunities effectively.

 

6. Reporting & Communication:

Prepare and present sales reports to the senior management team.

Communicate market insights, challenges, and recommendations for strategy improvement.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, preferably in sales or distribution management.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading distributor teams.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across the country.
